Just moments after arriving at my new home in March. Mom and Dad had decided it was time to get a dog so they found an ad in the newspaper for lab/husky mix puppies.  They called but all of the puppies had already found homes.  BUT... one man had taken two and his wife wasn't very happy so they were living out in the cold pole barn.  We took Nikki sight-unseen.  She wasn't a lab/husky mix but rather an Old English Sheepdog and possibly Wolfhound mix.  I was thoroughly pleased at seeing the little beard on her chin and her gorgeous blue eyes when Chris and I peaked into the cat carrier.
